A quiet space to pause, listen inward, and return to yourself.
Therapy here is not about fixing you. It’s about understanding what you’ve been carrying and allowing something to shift.
I’m Avnee, a counselling psychologist.
I work with individuals who are trying to understand themselves more deeply, navigate emotional overwhelm, or move through difficult transitions.
My approach is grounded in trauma-informed, evidence-based practice, with a focus on meaningful and sustainable psychological change.
Therapy here is not about fixing you. It’s about understanding what you’ve been carrying, and creating space for something to shift.
My academic journey has shaped the foundation of my work in understanding people, behaviour, and mental well-being.

You might find yourself here if you’re experiencing:
(You don’t need to fit into a category). These are simply some of the experiences we can work through together.
Feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, or emotionally drained. We work toward clarity, regulation, and a steadier inner experience.
When thoughts feel intrusive, repetitive, or hard to disengage from. Therapy focuses on reducing distress and rebuilding a sense of control.
Holding pain, loss, or experiences that still feel unresolved. A space to process gently, at your own pace.
Patterns that feel difficult to step away from. We explore what’s underneath, without judgment or shame.
Feeling unheard, disconnected, or stuck in repeating patterns. Work toward deeper understanding and healthier ways of relating.
Times of change, uncertainty, or identity shifts. Support in navigating what’s next with more stability.
How we work together matters just as much as what we work on. The approach is grounded in understanding how past experiences shape present patterns, and working gently toward a renewed sense of agency and wholeness. The work may draw from different therapeutic approaches, each chosen with care and adapted to what feels most supportive for you.
Exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviours, and gently working to shift patterns that no longer feel helpful.
Learning ways to navigate intense emotions with greater steadiness, and creating more balance in how you respond to yourself and others.
A collaborative, goal-oriented approach that focuses on your strengths, existing resources, and the direction you want to move toward.
Bringing attention to the body and present moment, supporting greater awareness, regulation, and connection with yourself.
Using creative and experiential approaches to access deeper layers of experience, supporting insight, release, and emotional processing.
“Marea means tide. A reminder that nothing within us is fixed. Thoughts shift, emotions rise, and patterns soften.”
