For Workplaces · Confidentiality

How Confidentiality Works

People only open up when they feel safe. These are the ground rules we agree with every organisation, school and retreat before we begin, so everyone knows exactly what stays private.

At a Glance

Two Sides, Clearly Drawn

What your organisation sees

  • Attendance numbers for workshops and trainings
  • How many counselling sessions were used each month
  • Broad, anonymised themes, such as “workload” or “sleep”, shared only when the group is large enough that no one can be identified
  • Anonymous feedback after each workshop

What stays private

  • Anything said in a one-to-one session
  • Personal stories shared in a workshop discussion
  • Notes, records and messages, kept by Avinii and never shared with your organisation
  • Any individual's details in reports
How It Works

From Planning to Every Session

01

Agreed upfront

We plan each programme with your HR team and agree these ground rules in writing before anything begins.

02

Safe workshops

Sessions focus on practical tools. No one is asked to share anything personal, and taking part is always voluntary.

03

Private one-to-ones

Counselling sessions are one to one with Avinii, and what is said stays between the two of them.

04

Anonymised reporting

Your organisation receives numbers and broad themes only, never names or individual details.

The one exception. If there is a serious risk to someone's safety, we may need to act to keep them safe. Even then, we speak to the person first wherever possible.
Questions

What People Usually Ask

Will the organisation know what someone shared in a session?+

No. What is said in a workshop discussion or a one-to-one session is never reported back, by name or in detail.

What reports does the organisation receive?+

Attendance numbers, how many sessions were used, and broad anonymised themes, shared only when the group is large enough that no one can be identified.

Who keeps the notes?+

Avinii keeps any notes securely as part of her professional practice. They are never shared with the organisation.

Is anyone asked to share personal things in a workshop?+

Never. Workshops are about practical tools. People take part as much or as little as they like, and nothing personal is required.

What happens if someone is at risk?+

If there is a serious risk to someone's safety, we may need to act to keep them safe. Even then, we speak to the person first wherever possible.
